Default Installing new plugs in my 95 gt?

Ok not rocket science I know. Just looking at the engine bay it looks extremely tough to get the plugs on the passenger side. Is there a trick? Or find someone with smaller hands.

Also is the gap 0.54?

Nah just go for it. I have huge hands and I managed with a rachet extension on 2 of them, and just the rachet on the others. As for gap, its up to you and if youre running juice or other kinds of forced induction

just a little fun fact..if you should ever decide to remove ur smog equipment...it makes it a breeze to change plugs..and the passenger side header if the need be lol...

its easer for me when I take off the CAI
Its also easer if you have the spark plug socket with a bolt head on the end of it so you can put a wrench on it and turn it without the ratchet if I didnt have that I wouldnt even be able to do mine...that egr tube in the back is a pain also!!!!!!
you think yours is tuff try doing it with these gt40p headers I didnt break but 3 plugs lol

very true, it's awesome.

Best bet is to just dive in there, get your hands down in there and you'll be fine. Experiment with different angles, they all won't be a straight shot.

I just took the intake piping off and wished my PO would've used the lube so that I could've taken the wires off with ease. Other than that, it just took a few minutes to position the socket and rachet correctly.

I cleaned my MAF sensor, changed my distributor cap and rotor. I know have half a mustang. It made a really big difference, but it still idles a little rough and does not have the power it should. I need to change the wires and plugs next.

I have a C&L 73mm MAF that I bought for my 88GT that I have since sold. Is this a better MAF than my stock one? I compared the sizes and they seem pretty close to each other. I of course would have to change out my stock intake system and put a CAI to use that MAF.

i had to take the intake off and detach some of the rubber hoses near the plugs...after that with a little help of an angle extension on the ratchet it was a breeze...im like a pro at it now...i think my record is like all 8 plugs in 15 min...lol

Ok, I got some plugs done today and holly F**K is it a pain in the *****. Pardon my French here, but what the F**k. I am no novice when it comes to this ****, but this is really some poor thinking on Ford's part here. The hardest part, besides fitting my hand and ratchet in there was seating the plugs. I only got the 3 front most plugs completed on the drivers side and it took well over an hour. The plugs I pulled had to be the originals from day 1 with the rust on them and so old they were gapped at almost 80. No wonder I felt I could have gotten my *** kicked by a granny in a chevette. I will have to complete the others as time permits. I now know why the local mechanic shop wanted $170 to change the plugs and wires less parts..

Yeah it's a pain in the *** with these cars. luckily i can get my skinny wrists in there to seat the plugs and then i use a 2 foot ratchet extension to tighten em down. it just takes some maneuvering. you may need to remove the airbox if you still have the stock one. replacing plugs is an easy concept but the layout of these engines makes it very time consuming.
