Tremec's

Hey Guys, does anybody know the diff. between tremec 500 and tremec 600 trans's. Which is better worse...etc

the 500 has a 10 spline input shaft just like the stock t5 and is made to hold about 500 ft/lbs and the 600 has a 26 spline input shaft and should hold 600 ft/lbs. hope this helps

Sure did...thanks so means the 3550 and the 500 are "the same"

tko600 has the 2.95 first gear and tko500 has a 3.27 first gear (shorter).. i got a tko 500 because of the short 1st..

Like the other guys have said the 600 can hold more torque and has a different input shaft. The gear ratios are different too. The 500 is geared very similar to theWC T-5 while the 600 has slightly taller overall gears.
