your over stressing...

throw a bolt in the front right and back left in the heads where header bolts go... and pick it up... ive done it numerous times w. iron heads(not aluminum tho, but id do it w. them too) or use the accesory holes in the front/back of the heads w. a bolt
thats how i do it too,

Seat belt straps tied around the mid-header pipes works just fine
and is lot quicker than bolts.

no way i could use the lower intake manifold....Just torquing bolts in there past 15 ft lbs will cause the threads to pull out. im kinda stuck guys.
o_O what kinda lower intake manifold do you have?

trick flow heads, they're aluminum...I dont want to put strain on those threads, because i have pulled them out before just wrenching on them with going over 15 ft lbs of torque.

Use the back of one head and the front of the other head. Its the bolt that holds the Altenator Bracket and on the the back of the other head its the same size bolt. I did it with aluminum heads too. Its perfectly safe.

picking it up by the header bolts? sure, ill do that...

as for the short block... its getting pulled out by head bolts, because its in the car, and its just the shortblock... ill thread in 2 head bolts, and lift it that way...
