Starter Problem
Hey whats goin on. Ihave an SN95 GT Mustang andgot a question about a problem I'm having.....I was driving one day and hit an camaflouged speed bump. The car kept going so I thought everything was fine so I turned off the car and left. When I came back to start the car nothing happened at all. No crank at all. I checked the battery and everything was fine and the radio and everything else worked no problem. I noticed when I start the car....I hear a clicking noise. I was told that it could be the starter acting up as a result for the car not starting. Now I'm pretty sure this is the problem but my question is where in hell is it(the starter)located??? I jacked up the car and looked underneath the motor and I just can't find it. So where is it located and how does it look like exactley. Somone told me it looks like an oversized soda can and at the same time there not that hard to fix so I figure Ill do it myself as soon as I know where it is. Any ideas....thanx.....

RE: Starter Problem
Under your car, pass side rear of the engine, by the trans hump, and yes it looks like a 20oz redbull can, and i hope that is your only issue (not something else), starters are cheap, and when you take yours off, bring it to the auto parts store and they can test it for you.
I've got a crappy one right now, it work GREAT when the car is dead cold, but when i drive the starter gets heat soaked = no crank. So i'll be doing mine soon and posting a pic if you need it.
