ok heres the deal, i have a F303 cam sitting around..I wanna put roller rockers and im going to be putting gt40x heads..what roller rockers and will i have piston to valve clearance issues? engine is 1990 5.0L ho stock bottom end

Obviously 1.6s will be on the safer side...

Gotta use 1.6's for that f cam with stock pistons.

You'll be ok with 1.6's, F cam, and stock length pushrod.....

Cobra intake, GT40X heads, F303, 1.6 Scorpion roller rockers, and S-trim are on my '89 GT with no problems at all.

It also has 70mm TB, 75mm MAF, 36# injectors, stock pushrods, and stock shortblock.

The correct answer is you must check for proper pushrod length, guessing could turn into a very costly mistake.

yup... rocker change=pushrod change

even if stock length is ok, get aftermarkets... valve train work is #1 on my list

Yep, I've seen the new project car. I helped Wayne pull off the driver's door to fix thatcrazy hack job rust repair that the previous owner did. What a mess. That car should be pretty sweet once everything is together. The turbo kit is alot nicer than expected for the price!

I dont hear or read anything good about this kit but Wayne and i are going to modify it to make sure it works correctly and reliably.
