Default Random Switch Under dash to the left? I KNOW WHAT IT IS!

So i made this post a few weeks ago. And everyone said it was for a alarm. Well, to my surprise, it was. Yesterday, for about 8 hours i was working on the car. I Gutted my stereo, took out random wires ( this car was a addition mess, so many random wires. ) And i fiddled with this switch for a while. To my surprise, i look by the steering column, and there’s this bushel of wires. I traced them all back, and found out it was for an alarm. . That was no long in the car... But I traced one wire through the fire wall and found that they left the siren in the car!! It doesn’t work though, I gave it juice, and I got nothing. Thank you for all who posted, and I still cant believe it was an alarm. I am so happy I decided to remove all of those wires. Photos are below. Thanks, Rob

flip it and find out

unless it was for something that they took out before giving it to you(line lock, nitrous, 2 stage, etc)

Most alarm valet buttons are Push buttons and not flip switches. Unless you buy one of those crappy alarms that come with a toggle for the valet... but thats another story. I put alarms on cars everyday and I have seen a toggle maybe once... It would serve the same purpose but still.

unless there is a spark plug attached to said switch and is sitting in the gas tank lol
...And a coil to provide enough voltage to jump the plug gap...
