+1 jasper, but if your dealing with the cam you have its a cheap / quick way to gain a little HP

I dont get it, the exhaust is so bad on the ford small block, why not put the 1.7 on the intake side? Do like the bbf cams do, they favor the intake cause the intake is soo much better. if it were me I would put 1.7's on the intake and 1.6's on the exhaust
no offense but thats simply retarded. the whole point of favoring the exhaust is to help compensate for the fact that the ports are weak.

It does give you more lift but the duration of the cam is what makes the majority of the power, and adding 1.7 rockers doesn't add duration. For the price difference i'd just go with a cam swap.

ok a**hole, go tell all the bbf guys they are doing it wrong. www.460ford.com I would love to hear your explanation on this. Just seems like logic, you have pretty decent intake why not make the most of it.

we are not speaking about a BBF ford. we are talking about a 5.0, 302. intake ports on the stock heads are its the exhaust that needs the extra help. my question is why spend money for a set of 1.6 rr's and 1.7's when you can have a custom cam made specifically for the car? then you dont have to worry about which side either the intake or exhuast
