i run a 1984-1986 svo mustang hurst shifter. it doesnt have stops i just make sure to take it easy on the tranny, they can be picked up for about 10-15$[8D]

GUILTY! Did this on my 90' GT. Had to change upper/lower shift forks and 3rd gear. Sucks cause 2 owners from me the 3rd gear still never broke in and whines like a supercharger in 3rd. LOL.
