Default Intake Manifold??? And Throttle Body????

i have a 1992 5.0 mustang that currently has bbk headers, h-pipe, flowmaster exhaust, underdrive pullies, cold air intake, cobra clutch, 3:73 gears, and a b-camshaft . i am wondering if i should get a upper and lower manifold with a bigger throttlebody for my next steps?? i want to get the trickflow r series upper and lower manifold with a 75mm bbk throttle body???someone told me that it would be dumb to do it because with the stock headsthey wouldnt be able to handle all the airflow so it would be pointless. other people told me that it would be a great step and i would get alot out of it.If anyone coulde help me out and let me know what i should do that would be awsome. If you have any tips let me know!! THANKS!!!

IT CAN'T HURT ANYTHING

You might want to upgrade the heads at some point too so why not

That intake is way too much for stock heads, and some aftermarket heads. You'll lose alot of throttle response and low end torque, with a little gain in upper rpm hp. Not worth the trade off. Choose a milder intake manifold and smaller TB (65mm or 70mm max) and you'll be much happier with the car.

Yeah 75mm TB is way too big, since you don't have aftermarket heads a 65mm should be plenty. The intake is a good step but i'd plan on doing heads too at some point, without the heads the intake and TB are not going to be able to provide full potential.

get a track heat intake or holley systamax intake. accufab 65 or 70 and then get a mass air sensor while your at it. why bottle neck it?

Definitly get a 70mm with your setup, and r series is too much and you need r series heads for it to match up right, if your looking at thei ntake on summit look at application notes and it should say it right there. Edelbrock rpm 2 and holley seem to be the top two manifolds, havent really found a consensus on which one is better. Tubular gt40 still the best looking intake imo though. But your asking for valvetrain trouble with that b cam and stock valvetrain.
