ORIGINAL: r.barn

You will need

new fuel pump .... $100
new MAF and injectors ..... $400-500
Computer tune ...... $500-750

King Cobra Clutch ..... $175.

Will be pushing stock trans, but should hold up ok.

Suggestion?

You can get a turbo kit $2,900 or $600 less than the
KB and make more power and have same off the line torque.
HIGHLY recommend a turbo over the KB

holy cow that is probably the cleanest fox body turbo setups i have seen. and the price is reasonable too.

I am most likely still going with a KB b/c I've always wanted one and love the simplicity of the setup. Doesn't make bad power at all either and I love instant torque. Turbo cars drive me crazy sometimes in terms of how they drive.

Does the kb for the 5.0 make the whine like on the 03/04cobra?

I think unless you're actively competing with it, you might as well go with what you want rather than what necessarily makes the absolutely most possible power ever possible with your car, unless of course all you want is the absolutely most possible power ever possible with your car. The whine of a supercharger is worth something in and of itself.

KBs whine on 5.0s but it's not nearly as loud as on the Termys and I think it's b/c most of them are running under 10psi, like Mustangkiler mentioned.

Yeah its the higher boost pulleys that make em scream
cause their rpms are so much higher with the smaller pulley

17-20psi pullied 5.0 KB would make a ton of noise too, I bet.
