heater core is out

got the heater core out and, there was 2 restrictors. how do i fit it in the new heater core or should it already be in there? can i run it without it?

you don't really need the restrictors....I believe SSP mustangs had them to prolong heater core reliability and so they wouldn't blow up.....Mine don't have them and they work fine and great heat
