Default Manual Valvebody Qs

I'm thinking about getting a full manual valvebody for my AOD transmission.

I was curious if it will lower the life of the transmission in any way?

If i was to just drive it normally and not beat on it will it make anything wear out faster?

I just want to know how these things work and i dont want to have to have a blown transmission down the road.

I guess my question is that if its a daily driver and your not gonna beat on it whats your reasoning for a fully manual valve body?? I would go either with an upgraded valve body not necessarilly fully manual but maybe something with a shift kit if your not gonna race it to much.

I use my car as a daily driver and I have an AOD w/ a transgo shift kit and I am really happy with it. I can just drive it or jump on it she shifts great every time

manual valve bodies are great i would go for it. they are easy to put in too dont have to take the trans out or anything. if anything it will make your trans last longer. just make sure to change the fluid every 30,000 miles or sooner
