trans>bell bolts
 

can anyone tell me the size of bolt that bolts the trans to the bellhouseing on a T5?..any helps great thanks

I believe they are 7/16?? but I could be wrong;)

na..i need to know like the thread of them...buddies got a tranny n bellhousing but needs to know what bolts he needs..he can get them from work if he knows the thread

12mm, Length 1-3/4", Thread pitch 1.75

one more thing..just told my buddy about the specs..and hes at work n not at home to see how many it takes.. u wouldnt knwo that would u?...number of bolts to hold tranny to bell..im prettty sure its just 4..but thought id make sure..and its like 8 outside otherwise id just go check mine

I just got in, but if you haven't already goneoutto look at your bell housing?
Yes there are4 bolts that hold the trans to the bell housing and 8 bolts that hold the bell housing to the back of the block.

well its his bell..he was at work..n couldnt remember.i was at home n he asked me if i knew..but i told him i thought 4 n it was a lucky guess..when i put my t5 in i didnt have the trans separated from the bell so i never even payed attention to them..thanks tho
