Default C4/C6

Does anyone know if the bellhousing from an AOD will fit with a C4 or C6?

dude if your bell comes off you got a C-4 The AOD bell is part of the casting and does not come off

the aod is the same as a C-4 but it has a over drive , In ford land after 1979 the v-8 olny 2 bolt patterns small and big block
Don't run the C-6 until you hafto it's a power **** . But after market C-4 are stronger than stock C-6 .

The bells will work for all if they are off a small blocks , if they come off a big block they wont bolt up to a small block and vice versa

the bell housing is also integral with the C-6 trans too, so you can't replace or change it.
and the AOD is a completely different trans from the C-4, it's not just a C-4 with an overdrive, it's a completely new design from the older C-4 or C-6 trans.
