Default difference between LX and GT

OK well looks liek my insurance is gonna drop me so i gotta downgrade stangs a little bit. IM thinkin one of the fox bodies, What is the differnce between LX and GT in the 88-93s?

And the Suspension is a little different, and the LX is like 200lbs lighter.

I think you should get an insurance qoute before you do anything. Because I got a qoute for a 2005 civic and a 2004 cobra the difference was only about $200 every 6 months. Also my 89 LX was about the same as my 03. So check that out first.

if you get a V-8 Stang, the insurance company will know from the engine code letter in the VIN, so you can't win! unless you go with a 4 or 6 cylinder car, they will still stick you with V-8 insurance rates. you will save some insurance money on an older model Stang though as the car is not worth as much as a 2003 model so the comprehensive coverage should be cheaper.
