Default Eliminate need for MAF?

I have an 88 GT with speed density, and am looking at doing major internal upgrades, MAF conversion is not an option. costs too much money and the search for a computer from a 5.0 MAF GT without AC, MT, in the junk yard is impossible. carbureted is one option. but i would like to stay fuel injected. has anyone heard of a company which makes a programmer or some type of tuner, possibly eliminating the need for a mass air meter?

you dont have to find a comp with such a complex checklist. you can get one that was out of a car w/out a/c, it doesn't have to be from a gt it can be from an lx that was a 5.0 and im pretty sure that it could actually be from an auto also (somebody correct me on the last one if its wrong please [&:]. im pretty sure that you can if you can swap from an auto to a manual w/out a comp swap also

All the Mustang EEC's had the A/C relay circuit, if the car didn't have A/C from the factory it was simply left unused, so that shouldn't be a problem...... you could also use either a AT or MT EEC.
