Default 1992 LX Brakes Qestion

Whaaaaaasup got real good qestion for anyone that can help. I have been having problems with my brakes lately. When I am coming to a stop and my car is up shifting(Auto Tranny) it will not stop. But as the car jumps into first the brake pedal will travel fartherand my car will stop normally. I just replaced the master cylinder and it helped but did not fix the problem. Now my pedal is spongey. I bled the brakes in the front now I am going to bleed the back and see what happens. Do you think this might be my brake booster? Thanks

go ahead and bleed the rears and see how that helps. but you have to make sure that the master is completely bled also or the rest of your system won't bleed out correctly. and you say that your car won't stop while upshifting. uhh could that be cuz your on the gas? why is your car upshifting while coming to a stop? im kinda confused there unless you just meant downshifting...if they work better when the car gets into first i think it could possibly be a vac leak. when the car downshifts to first it bumps up the rpm and it may be just enough to supply the amount of vac you need. its kinda a long shot but plausible i guess
