Friend has 1.6 rockers he is bout to try putting in. It seems easy but just making sure. Do you just unbolt the old one replace and rebolt it? I can't see it being any other way... He has a small cam but we are unsure which one it is so we will make sure to turncrank by hand to make sure theres to ptv but otherwise am i missing anything?

FWIW, 1.6 is the stock ratio.

Are they pedestal or stud mount rockers? A lot of the goodaftermarket rockers are stud mount and require changing to ..a stud. This is different than the stock setup.

Could you fill us in a little more on what is in the current engine and what rockers you have in your hand to replace them with. You may need to purchase guide plates, studs, and pushrods depending on what you have.

Scorpion 1.6 pedestal roller rocker arm. I'm pretty sure we've figured out how to put them in now. Thanks for the help though will post if it doesn't work this time.

you checked contact on the valve, and shimmed them acordingly right?

scorpion makes good **** fwiw... i plan on running stud mount ones
