RE: Nitrous ?'s
nothin, just put it on and go.
now if you were hittin it with a 250 or bigger shot then i would be pulling all the plugs after a run to make sure, but up to a 125 youll be fine. the kits are made for stock motors.

You can always benifit from a tune, But I'm a nitrous noob to. I recently put on a nitrous works efi plate kit that was used with 150 jets. I installed one step colder plug took my timing from 19 to 10 just be safe and sprayed a full bottle on the 150 shot on my stock fuel pump with zero issues.I have recently installed 75 shot jets and I'm saving up for a new fuel pump and regulator and I will be doing 125 jets and tune after that. The tune can just help find optimal timing and a safe fuel jet for your nitrous jet.

Im putting a nitrous on my notch, i have had people say to do a dry shot But that requires a lot of tuning doesnt it. I want a wet kit cause its supposed to be safer and there is not hardly any tuning required. Am I right or wrong about this???

dry are quicker
dry are safer since you do NOT flow fuel throught he upper intake
dry require ZERO tuning on a 5.0 car
simply knock off some timing, and close up the stock plugs on 89-ish octane
w/ 80 jets i run 89 octane on 14* and plugs gapped at .042"

tuning is just that, finding what timing and fuel pressure you can use while not detonating.
put it on and go, even with a wet kit the only tuning you may need is to make sure the flowing fuel pressure is right for what the kit needs.

its just a starting recommendation, when spraying the 125 dry shot i set the distributor to 14 degrees.
now this may not work for you because every single motor acts differently, i would start at 10 degrees and slowly go up a degree at a time until it detonates, then lower it a degree.
and if its detonating LET OFF!
and just for the people that havent used n2o before, you will need to be at least 3000 rpm to spray, it dont matter what kind of kit you have, spraying from idle will detonate and break something.
but launching at 4krpm while spraying is great. and will get you hooked
