ok i was on the highway doing about 65-70 and i saw a Dodge Charger come along side me and started taunting me and then on the other side was a Benz (dont know the style or year but a newer one) but when i gunned mine it felt like it wasnt all the way in gear and then the rpms shot up past 5000 and when i let it felt like it went back into gear. my transmission is a AOD with a TCI shift kit in it and when this happened i was in OD. i plan on a rebuild in the spring and im just not sure if its an OD thing or not.

sounds like slipping friction plates inside the trans

yea, i cant wait to get it rebuilt when i get taxes back
