It seems low because usually it is, most people on 302s dont see over 300whp with the TFS top end kit. With the stock cam you may see around 280whp with a tune, all depends on the car and tune.

Here is how to get power out of this setup.


Trickflow TRACK HEAT INTAKE

Trickflow Heads

Trickflow Stage 1 Camshaft

70mm MAF Calibrated for 24lb Injectors

70mm Throttle Body

Headers

24lb injectors

190lph fuel pump

16* Timing



Replace those old Oxygen Sensors and your set.

Thanks for the help. I have an 87 which is Speed Density not MAF. I may be buying an 88 GT with a blown engine. I can just transfer the computer and the MAF and harness off the 88.

However will this setup work with a Speed Density car?

I am pushing around 250 HP now, so your saying the whole kit only boost HP up to 275. THats alot of cash for 25 HP. No offense but that doesn't make sense to me.

Believe it!!! cause trick flow kits are avertised flywheel hp and tested in a controlled environment........280 to 290 is normal for the trick flow kit rwhp and a tune will help maximize the kits potential

So basically they are a waste of money for the small gain in HP?? I'm ona limited budget so I want the biggest bang for my buck? Am I better off getting GT-40 heads and having them re-worked?

not a waste you can always use them for bigger and better later on down the road

sd its fine, just not the tfs cam... theres a few cams u can use, i have the comp xe270 in my sd car, and it has no problems at all
