I put my engine back together when I did the head gaskets and got the specks for the stock rockers and tighted them up to about 18-25 lbs. I started driving and after about 10 miles the enging started making a noise and i can only think the rockers are too tight. Are the 1.6 pedestal rockers the same torque specs?

Torque is the same. Did you make sure you dont need shims? Check to make sure one didnt back off.

if theyre too tight , the engine will run like crap cause the valves arent closing all the way. if theyre too loose youll hear a ticking noise.
