ok i have a 88 mustang notch back tht i am making a drag car i was wondering wht kind and size carborator i should buy i have a 302 bored to a 306 fordged pistons and connecting rods gt 40 heads cast iorn 1.72 roller rockers victor jr. intake 542 lift ford racing cam please help me out

600 or 650 should be enough for ya

drag car = 650 DP would be the way to go, if your going to drive it around town at all i would go 600-625

For a 302 dude is right a good 650 is gonna do you plenty but I bought a holley street avenger 670 for my 302.

My 306 was more on the hot street side and it had a 650 dp and worked great but for street driven to an occasionally strip car a 600 edelbrock is what's on my other car and it's a stock to semi mild car and that set up worked great
