Default Subframe Install Question

For the people that installed them in there own garage. I have a set of full length subframe connectors with torque box reinforcements. My questions is how did you guys weld them in?? Did you put the car of jack stands or just weld them in with the car on the ground??

thanks

I welded them in on the ground. I jacked the subframe up into place, not lifting the car, then I welded the outsides the best I could. I did both sides, then I put it up on jackstands and did the insides.

If you have a set of ramps, borrow a set from someone else too and put the whole car up on ramps and do it that way.

i used 4 jack stands. put the front 2 under the a arms as close as possible to the ball joints and the rear 2 on the axle tubes as close as possible to the tires. or you could use 4 drive on ramps.
