Default clutch petal vibration/noise

so ive noticed since ive started driving my car, the petal vibrates and makes an annoying sound. it i just rest my foot on the petal it stops and its good, but the noise is only there when im in 1st gear - 3rd gear but even then it doesnt do it everytime i drive it. anyone know how i can stop it?

make sure your throw out bearing is not the culprit..if by putting light tension on the clutch pedal and the noise stops it's a good possibility the throw out bearing is starting to go out...try and listen down by the bellhousing if the noise is emitted there..it may take two people to do this..one in the car and with the car jacked safely one under it

its a brand new tranny and clutch doesnt it already have a new bearing?

It should as long as the person who did it put it in...but even so new ones have been known to take a crap right away cause they be cheap china ones!!![:'(]....but irregardless..you need to narrow down /pinpoint the source of orgin of the noise..use your ears and a automotive stephascope when you start getting close

you also need to make sure no exhaust or drivetrain components are touching the body of the car that will allow the transnit/resonance vibration to occur

When i first got my mustang it had been sitting for a while and it was doing the same thing as yours and it was the throwout bearing but it went away as i drove the car more and now it is fine so it might just need to be broken in more.

well this car did sit for alittle over 6 years and i bought it around 3/4 months ago and just started running it. but its gonna a ton of new parts maybe its just breaking in. its hard to track the sound since it only does it sometimes and well ur driving it makes it quite hard to look/listen down there when ur trying to shift and what not.

so i managed to climb up around there and the petal itself is loose.....im not sure how it bolts or mounts in there any help??
