I just did away with mine and got a k&n filter the kind that breathes all around. Of course my snorkel and all that crap was torn up and cracked. Not much you can do to upgrade what you have there but you can toss it and get a different setup.

my 85 in my sig used to be cfi - crappy fuel injection and there is no hope for it..it does not like performance upgrades nor does it have adaptive strategy to complemente the performance enhancements...the best thing you can do is rip all the cfi crap off and convert it to carb....I had a rebuilt 302 with a performer cam in it 448/472 lift , ported este heads and roller rockers, performer 302 intake with egr 2 barrel adapter plateand full exhaust and 3.73 gears and I heaved the aod and converted to a 5 speed and the best I could pull was a 15.4 @89 mph....after much contemplation I ditched the cfi and converted to a performer 289 intake and edlelbrock 600 carb and duraspark ignition...and I put a set of equal length headers on and those were the only changes to the set up...and new best et was 13.47@99mph...cfi sucks......anyway that set up is long gone and a 347 is going in now:D....here's what it looked like with my previous 11 to 1 306 I just pulled:

and keep the dual snorkal set up ...it'll allow hood clearance....and if you want to use it on a carbed set up you'll need a carbed snorkal base the cfi version has a larger opening:D
