Default 88 stang wont go below 1500 idling

i havent started my stang up for about 3 months. I go to fire it up and the car wont go below 1500 rpms. It stays at 1600-2000 rpms and wont idle. Could it either be the IAC motor or Tps sensor? I also tried adjusting the screw on the TB but still doesnt go down. Also, i have a battery that was laying around my garage from my contour that im using for the stang just to start it up cuz the one died. Im not keeping this one in but could this be the problem as well? THANKS

i already cleaned the IAC and still the same problem...could it be the TPS? Also i gave it a little gas and the rpm went up to 2500, and it didn't go down like it should. TPS ANYONE?????? I Called like two advanced auto parts places and they said it might be the TPS

clean inside the throttle body itself with some good carb cleaner, sounds like to me the throttle blade is sticking on the carbon build-up often found behind the throttle blade. make sure the linkage is moving freely also so that the return spring can close the blade all the way.
