burnin rubber

i've read in past posts that autolite 25 are the best spark plugs to use for a 5.0, and some say that they are running platinum plugs with no problems. i just wanted to know the difference between those 25's and platinum or double platinum plugs. the reason i'm asking is because i was given a set of platinum plugs, but if its not advised to use them, i'll get me a set of autolites. thanks guys
