but what im getting at is nothing was special that couldnt be ordered other than the stickers ive had 8 71-73 cars other than a grille, and bumper and pop open gas cap in 1971. they didnt even get the center gauges and tach standard if im not mistaken, they were the same as a fastback. no standard delux interior etc compared to the 69-70 a few years earlier. ive had a standard fastback that had more "mach 1" items than a base mach 1 it had the naca hood,delux interior, spoiler etc. mine look like a boss 351 car although it wasnt, it had the color keyed front fender eyebrows with a chrome bumper. ive had a 72 sport coupe it had all the items you think when you think mach1. i had a very well optioned 73 mach i busted up for parts it had a 351c,fmx,guages,hood,power windows,heat rear glass etc .

you cant order a lx with gt body parts like you could order a 71-73 standard with mach 1 parts. well not unless your consider a an sn95 gts it was setup like an lx i wanna pick one up one day there is a mexican driving around in a clean yellow one hes now added z3 fenders i wanna save that car from his hacking so bad
