My car is a 94 Mustang GT, 5.0, V8...

It had been running great until recently...The engine starts up, but it doesn't turn over...I thought it might have been the battery, so I took it to Kragen for a test...He said that even though there was corrosion on it, it was at full charge...I brought it home and rubbed off the corrosion and tried again, to the same results.

It also sprung an oil-leak recently...But I still have oil so I know the engine isn't seized.

What Ive heard from my friends who know a little but about cars is maybe a starter problem...Could anyone elaborate on that?

I am completly car-illiterate and any sort of suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll have to forgive my vauge explaining of this...Im just clueless.

Anyways, it begins to start...I turn the key and the engine makes roughly the sound it would normally make starting...Probably a bit weaker than normal actually...Then it just sputters and dies out.

you need a test light and while holding the key in the crank position..if what you mean it it won't crank.......then while holding in the crank position have someone touch the test light to the wire going down to the starter..if it light then you need a starter

so it cranks but won't start????you need to check for spark or a no fuel delivery issue......you'll needa inline spark checker and a fuel pressure tester..my guess is by the sound of the problem..you may have a fuel pump problem..but that's just a guess
