Default tubular front control arms

so i have an 1989 notch and ive been doing some research on front suspension....

i want the benefits of a lighter control arm but dont want to put coil-overs in my car.... but still want to put a k-member in later!

ive been searching everywhere and it seems like nobody makes a tubular a-arm that accepts conventional springs! guys have any suggestions or maybe even advice?

so it's possible to use a tubular k member without having to use coil overs? what about a tubular k member with factory arms, is that possible?

yep!!! call d&d and ask dave..I think it look shyty to do such but to each his own...I don't know why so many are afraid of the coil over set up..it works great and did on mine!!! and saves more weight and rides well

i don't think coil overs would clear my tires on the front. there is like a quarter inch between strut and tire now. i'm buying my suspension right now piece by piece. have bump steer, poly front arm bushings, and caster camber plates so far. already did rear arms. i think i might check into the tubular k member conversion now i understand i may not need to use coilovers.

Yes. I am running the QA-1 tubular K member with the stock upper and lowers. I had to grind the lowers just a hair to clear. I think it was so the control arm would swing down far enough to put the spring back in. There is a little spur that catches, and you have to grind it down.
