I personally would go procharger. IMO it is the most complete kit. http://www.rpmoutlet.com/atimustangv8.htm[/align]

paxton is good too. i would run a 331 with 11.5:1 comp with a good cam and a good set of heads.

i didnt read all of the posts but i will letcha know the ways you can go. Easiest way would be going forced induction, with supporting mods and low boost, either a turbo or supercharger, or twin turbo if you wanted but thats for much more power etc. You could do a 347 stroker with supporting mods, and some nice heads and cam etc. Or you could drop a 351 in with some nice h/c/i etc and even stroke that. Its pretty hard to get to 350 to the wheels without forced induction in my opinion, even harder on a 302. If you stay on a 302, i could get you 300 to the wheels on the cheaper side, however if you want that much, your better off stroking it! 347 for the win man. I have a friend whose a mod here selling a 347 kit at an amazing price! If your interested pm me and i will give you the details.

And also the least thought out kit IMO. Not to mention the price.

Where can you find a nice none ebay crap turbo kit for 2500? Turbo's are sweet but tend to be much more expensive.

What is your budget and how streetable do you want it? I haven't had the opurtunity to run mine on the dyno but I would bet I make 350+rwhp N/A. I can ride around getting 15mpg with the A/C on then go run high 11s on drag radials. My engine, assembled myself was $5200. That includes machine work, motor mounts andinjectors.

ponydown has them for just over that

b&g is like the same price

quicktime is a bit more

extra 300-500 more for more hp and more torque. think bout it this way. if procharger had a box that said add 400 for 30% more hp and 50%+ tq over the 65% that you already gained, would ya check it? i would

ya but the price of the procharger is even more then a good turbo kit, for the price IMO the vortech is the best way, iv found them for 2600 and with the extra money you could get other mods.

turbos are also said to put less strain on engines, take less gas, and depending on the turbo, have less lag. suerchargers are always running from a belt, turbos arent. saves gas and with prices today i think thats what id be looking at. turbos also have an option of manual boost controllers so you can basically manage the power you want to be running. if you are just driving around town you turn it way down and save gas and engine wear. some kid in a civic pulls up to you thinking hes fast sh*t cuz hes got a turbo and you knock that boost up and blow him away. i really like the whine of the super though. i would have a hard time choosing if i had the money to do it and for gas
