having pressure plate problems?? NEED HELP ASAP!!

Default having pressure plate problems?? NEED HELP ASAP!!

when i line up clutch disc then put on pressure plate. The pressure plate will not sit flush on the flywheel...there is a small gap inbetween flywheel and pressure plate. do not want the tighten pressure plate bolt due to snapping one already. need help asap please

are the dowl pins keeping the pressure plate from seating on the mounting surface???

no wide part of dowel is sitting flush on flywheel...the clutch disc seems to be preventing the pressure plate from being flush

well you won't be able to sit it flush with out drawing it down by the bolts because as you tighten it down that preloads the pressure plate to the clutch disk and when tightening it down you can litteraly see the clutch fingers move on the pressure plate

Not to mention tighten the bolts in a criss cross direction and only tightening them a lil at a time so they all go down evenly.

I had the same issue when I installed my KC clutch. Be careful not to pull the threads out of the flywheel bolt holes.

if you have someone press the clutch pedal, you can make it go home and zip 2 bolts in then they can be done and your back on your own.

i like doing it that way better
