Default Fuel Tank Insert ?

Was wondering if anybody here has used the insert for the fuel tank that replaces were the pump goes and has AN fittings so you can run an external pump. If so do you know if you can still use the stock sending unit or is there something ill have to do to keep it?

The sending unit is in another spot, so you will be alright. The insert you are refering to is a pick up right? Going to a carbed set up?
