Default question on cobra rims

I have a buddy that has told me on more then one occasion that the rims off a '93 cobra, the factory "fan blade" style, have a problem on regular fox bodies with the rear spacing, like the axles are to short, so the tires in the rear are in more, and the front seem to stick out. Is this true? I thought they had the same setup just differant brakes and other stuff, not differant axle lenghts, I want to know becouse I like those rims and would like someday to get a set for my car

ive heard that also cause of the added lenght of the disk setup so ppl run narrower tires or just use spacers

maybe these people just have the rim on the wrong wheel... cuz the mustang shop owner wants to sell me them and told me that they are set up for specific rim to match a specific side of the car.. and he knows his ****, he owns over 2000 mustangs.. his backyard is HEAVEN!
in his living room is a revolving turning floor with his shelby on it.. well one of his many shelbys lol. rich ****...

Well if the fronts were thinner than the rears and with direction tred tires, this would be true. And also because the rims are "fan blades" if you had the wrong rim on the wrong side it would look retarded with the fan blades facing different directions.
