Just finished up overhaulin the ol five oh...
Just finished overhauling and cleaning up my 302. Just put it back in the car along w/ the tranny last night. My dad's going to finish hooking it up this week untill i can get back home from school friday night. So, hopefully i'll have it running again this weekend. Heres some pics of the motor almost completely assembled @ http://www.angelfire.com/psy/bbkwhore/
Oh yeah, tomarrow im picking up a 302 out of an 85 Truck for $25.. complete engine. Im going to rebuild it, do some performance mods to it, etc... and then look for something to put it into (maybe the stang). Anyhow, I was wandering what kind of HP/TQ I was looking at stock for this motor. I read that it had 220, but people put all types of false info on the net, so if anybody knows please let me know. Thanks

the truck motor is less than the mustang in the horsrpower deparment . I am almost shure but not 100% that the truck is around 185 HP
the 85 truck motor is a flat tappid cam also . the trucks did not go roller untill mid 90"s . they also have the 302 fireing order not the windsor like the 302HO
