Default O/R Pipes and Emissions

Dumb ?... but can't find the answer...can i do a O/R H or X PIPE in Arizona?? Seems more than half the people on here got the O/R.

They will run your car on a Dyno if your car was built before 95 (Pre OBDII). I doubt you will pass the NoX readings without the cats on.

Answer: Yes you can but you will probably need to put the catted crossover back on for emissions purposes.

You mean put the O/R on then swap back on stock w/ cats for emissions...I heard of a guy hollowing out the cats so if emmisions checked for them it appeared he had cats.

That would be if they only did a visual check. Here in AZ they put your car on an emissions dyno. The hollowed out cats would get 'sniffed' out...literally.

Yes, O/R on, then swap it out for the stock w/cats for emissions.

Appreciate it man...the guy i know that hollowed his cats for the visual inspection said it actually passed emmisions better that w cats..ur right though, they'd smell it.

How difficult is it to install/remove an H pipe.
