i would suggest an e cam the b cam has a weird operation range i had one and diddent like it I prefer the e cam. just my 2 cents

im def not going with a high volume oil pump there is no need for that ill be buy a new one cause mine has 190k on it and im sure it will go out pretty soon and ill kick myself in the *** for not replacing it when i should have

if your pulling the pan spend the money on an ARP oil pump driveshaft. they are like 20 bucks and are one of the SBF's 2 major weaknesses.

just pull the dizzy gear off the exploder motor and put it on your older duraspark dizzy before installing it. also, you may want a high *pressure* pump, high volume is not needed.

oh yeah, dont forget your motor is a 28oz and the new one is a 50oz, you need to use the new flywheel and balancer.

damnit that means i have to buy a whole new clutch set up i have a 10" clutch and the new flywheel is gunna be a 10.5" so there goes a perfectly good clutch and another 440 bucks

i believe the clutch will still work correct me if im wrong but the clutches are the same from 79-95? which would include the 28 oz and 50 oz balance flywheels

do what I did have a machine shop drill out the weight on the flywheel and re use it, then just buy a PP balancer

nope 79 to 85 is a 10" clutch and the 86-95 is a 10.5 unless the pressure plate still lines up on the new fly wheel that would be great cause this clutch only has like 8k on it and i would be so pissed if i had to get rid of it
