Default battery in the trunk

would it be worth the trouble or the money?? i was gonna do it to take a lil bit of wieght off the front and put it to the back... and also not many people have it done... but has anyone ever had any problems doing this?

there can be problems.

1st off possible shorts and bad grounds...
2nd make sure it's nhra approved, not all are and you might not pass tech at the track

other than that, yes that weight swing helps, probably no more than an air bag in the right side coil though

but if you can use the space in the engine compartment for something else then another reason to do it

i have mixed feeleings, some have had headaches

i have had mine in the trunk for about 2 years, was the first modification i did, it makes the engine compartment a lot more open. I think its worth it

it's all about having clean connections and installing extra block to body grounds under the hood...I did just that and have not had 1 prob yet

hmmm ok question for the guys that have had absolutely no problems... mine is a convertible... fyi and how long of wires did you use??? i guessed 8 ft... havnt bought them yet though. and where did you get a good ground from??? thanks

I grounded mine to my frame. The cable I used came with my kit, I dont remember how long it is, was one of the easier things I have done to my car

I bought a ground strap from summit. Went from the block to the frame up front. Wasn't very long. The fact that you have a vert makes no difference.
