When I was a little inexperienced young'n (2 years ago) I did the TF kit too, for its simplicity. I did it right w/ supporting mods, and wound up with 302/317. No complaining here, for what I paid. You're holding yourself back with your stock injectors (and presumably stock MAF and TB).
Try replacing the plug and wire before anything else. Just swap them from another cylinder temporarily

replaced theboot from another cylinder, and still does the same...spark plug comes out wet (Gasoline) and exhaust reeks like gas
there is spark at the spark plug, although it seems a lil bit more odd that the other sparks, it seems more weak and out of time...
speaking of time...timing is set at 15 degrees +-2 (It was done with a ****ty flash bulb thingy timing gun)
