Default maximum compression with 97-98 octane gas?

What would be the maximum recomended compression ratio if one had access to 97-98 octane gas regularly?

91 octane is good for about 10.5 compression so 97 could probly go over 11:1 compression, just a guess tho

i was blending 110 and 93 about 50/50 and i had approx 12:1 with cast iron heads. ran about 36 deg total timing with no problems. i also ran 100 av/gas from time to time with a few gallons of 93 blended in and still had no problems

is it a daily driver if so i wouldnt go over 10:1 no matter what kinda gas you have access to 2 points of comp wont yield that much power gain as compared to the drive ability

where are you getting this gas? i dont see how 12:1 wouldnt be a problem. i have seen 11:1 and 93 work as a dd so i dont see how you couldnt run more.

talk to some local speed shop people who actually know there stuff

The camshaft plays a HUGE role in compression as well.
