yea...get the heads o-ringed and cam ..hmmmm it'll depend on if it has to pass emissions...if it does than no bigger than a e-cam..but there are better choices out there

well then..if you are going to use stock gt-40 heads un ported then there is no sense going to radical on the cam as the heads will reach max flow potential at a certain lift...but of course with a custom cam you could change that theroy by altering duration and get even more potential out of gt-40 heads but the easiest thing for the at home do it yourselfer is to grab a ots cam= off the shelf preground cam...and in your case the trick flow stage one cam .499/.510 lift may not be a bad choice for a set of ported gt-40 heads...of course I hate to reccommend cams cause the opinions on this subject differ greatly.........but with that cam you'll be safe with any ptv issues as for the head gaskets if you get them o-ringed here's what I'd use:

the heads dont need to be o-ringed, just buy a decent set of gaskets with arp hardware

^^^^^^you can do that too.....it's one step better than stock but if your like me and can't leave boost alone.....when I mess with friends boosted cars we like to constantly up the boost and push the envelope.....and as much as I hate doing head gaskets on supercharged cars with upper levels of boost meaning 12 and up i like to be safe than sorry........I guess the real question is "how much boost where you running to blow both gaskets??? and how is the tune on the car?? been to a proffesional tuner yet???:D
