Default Cam question

Hey guys i am getting ready to do my h/c/i soon and i was recently told that since i have an automatic that my car will be picky on the cams. I have a 91gt. I have heard the ecu's for the sn94-95 are very picky, but i didnt know that automatics were picky. He said it was because of the stock converter. Is there any truth to this?

It looks like i might be grabbing 1.6 roller rockers, gt40 heads, explorer intake, and a cam. What would you say is a good choice on the cam?

the above link should help you understand and answr any question you had about the sn-95 ecu's and a small tid bit on the fox aod vs ecu....in fact a fox doesn't even know there is a tranny attache to the rear so the internal mods you will make will not affect the tranny whatsoever....but with a cam in a auto fox you need a stall and appropriate gears.....but when people swap from a aod to t-5 a ecu change is often made cause the fuel and spark tables pre mapped in the fox aod ecu's are a little more conservative than 5 speed cars = slight power difference
