Default Front end tires rub

Kind of weird. One side (LF) tire rubs. The other (RF) does not. or atleast not as bad. Specs 225/60 on 16's. Should putting smaller tires and rims on it fix it. Could this be a balence issue. Car drives straight. What would the reccommended tire/size be without going over. You can poing me where to look. Thanks.

Tires usually rub fully locked with 17" rims however I never heard of that issue with 16's check your front suspension see if anything is sagging and compare right to left.

Those 225/60/16's are giant. Next to a 225/50/16 they are 3"-4" taller.
Switching to 225/55/16's the stock size or 225/50/16's should fix your problem.

Stock size for a 1987 - 90 - 225/60-15 = 25.62" diam.
Stock size for a 1991 - 93 - 225/55-16 = 25.74" diam.

225/60-16 = 26.62" diam.
225/50-16 = 24.85" diam.

Your car is an 87 that is why that size rubs, Ford made revisions to the inner liner and front fender extensions for 1991 - 93 to allow more room for the larger tires.
If you use the 225/50 - 16 you would should be ok.
I'm running 245/45 - 17 25.68" diam. on my 87 with no rubbing.
