Default heater core/evaporater replacement

Well while the engine is out and I am waiting on the machine shop, I thought I would go ahead and change the heater core. I have the dash down and I also decided to replace the evaporater while I am there. One problem...what tool do you need to get the line loose?

there are a/c realease tools or you can buy a set of cheap plastic white fuel line release tool in a holder at sears cheap..they slide over the line and you push the tool in and push the line in all at once and pull back and wham it comes off...but make sure all freon has been properly removed from the system first

oh one thing!!! since you only want to do this job once...do yourself a favor don't buy the cheap autozone stuff..I did before and 2 times in a row it lasted a year and a half max.....buy the ford oem stuff...this is one of the times I would reccommend doing such as that's just what I finally did cause doing the heater core and evap are a pain
