ok right now im debatin on wether to build a 331 or 347 i was wanting a 331 cuz they hold better at high rpms but also at the same time sn95s are heavier than foxs that im use to messing with and 347s produce more torque which will help get the heavier car moving better.... kinda at a road block right now im plannin on setting up more for handlin and plan on goin to a road course with it this summer so...

Road courses are notoriously tough on engines.

Sustained rpm will be common place

Plan accordingly...

yea i am ive talked to plenty of guys that compete at the track and most of them are using 347's since they produce more torque, but they had lots of $$$ in them so they would last. i dont plan on goin all the time maybe 2 or 3 times this summer but i still like to play around on the street.

Once the car learns the cam the idle is great and the car runs well without a tune. With 1.7 rockers the #19 is .510 lift.

i would go for the 331 motor since you will be running higher rpms. the 347 can get it up and moving faster but they will crap out quick from the revs.
