Default Removing front wheel well liners ?

Is there some trick to get these things out?
I just can not get them to budge.

Take the palm of your hand or fist and punch the splash shield upward and inward toward the engine bay. What you're trying to do is dislodge it from the outer fender lip.

It is a PITA. I just folded down the front and back, pushed it up and rotated it out. One was really easy, the other sucked.
