Default need your help screwed um my tires bad tonight!!!!

ok well i just put on my 17x10 with a 285 tire in the rear. i had to remove quadshocks so that left me with stock upper and lower c/a's. i have eibach sportline springs also. i hit a big bump and the tire ripped down the inner lip of the quater and shredded tire. im so mad what can i do to stiffen up the rear and stop it from rubbing. i was thinking a stiffer spring sum c/a's. please any help would be great.

i dont know how to stiffen up the suspension but if you do, you will lose traction and be back to sqare one with the stocker 225's on there. i know this is out of thequestion but try a lower profile tire or you could also try rolling the lip on the fender, how much of the lip is rubbing if your tires are sticking out the id say your s.o.l

not sticking out much pretty mch even with the fender well. is it possible the stock rear control arms are not absorbing bumps good like its not stiff causing rear to sink alot on bumps. plus i think my springs are too low

The main prob is sportlines lower more than any other spring. If anything polyurethane upper and lower isoltaers will help

grind the inner lip off with a die grinder or get skinnier tires

Prty muchi had same problem with some slics 10.5 mickeys and tore off the inner lip, you need to either get a skinnier tire or grind away inside the inner part of the fenderwell, when i took the tires off i could see the line where they were scrapping across the inside of the fenderwell, at least mine were used tires so i wasnt out too much.

Trash the sports and go with eibach pros. You will still have the problem with the sports no matter what, thats just to low.

I've got your solution but it will cost you about 200 bucks. Granatelli makes a lower control arm that allows you to lower your car 1 inch or raise it up to 2 inches. I have these on my car because I was having a similar problem. Look into them, jegs has them for 199 and they ship them to you in like 2 days. You have to get the lower controls with the weight jacker.
