Here's the way I routed my belt, and didn't have to reengineer the tensioner either.

The thing is, the tensioner has smooth surfaces, are you sure it's safe, or good for the life of the belt to run the grooves over the smooth surface?

Also, no matter what, there is still part of the belt moving under the tensioner, so it's about the same as routing it under the tensioner instead of around it...

I've ran it for the end of last season, no problems. My tensioner pulley has flanges on the outsides so it won't walk off which it shouldn't since the rest of the pulleys are lined up anyway. I did put a washer behind the pulley to line it up a bit better, though. I think it looks a lot cooler too routed like that, for some reason.

If I remember correctly, the heads are tapped where the bosses cover up and there may be these threaded inserts screwed into the threads for accessories if that head was used on the other side at the factory, so like I said, you never know what size bolt it is until you try. Or, you can just weld the bosses up and bolt them back onto the heads.

Good luck, man.

what solenoids are you talking about? where exactly?
I think they are the tab and tad solenoids.
if you are standing at the front of the car on the left side right behind the strut tower there is a bunch of crap that was hooked up to the smog stuff..
do you guys know if it will trip a check engine light if you disconnect them?
