coolant leak help

ok so say i get a leak down test...and to tell if its a head gasket i listen with a screw driver for air?

no leak down is different. you compress the cylender with air. from there you listen to various places. hiss from the tail pipe would be bad exhaust valve. hiss from the trottle body it would be an intake valve, bubbles in the radiator means head gasket, hiss from the oil filler/valve cover is bad rings. hiss coming from the spark plug hole on the adjacent cylender is bad head gasket as well. make sure you do it with all the spark plugs out. there is also a spec that tells you how much air is aloud to excape from the cylender so if you see the gauge drop a little bit it could be normal you gotta look up specs i dont know them
